What is the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing (ISAPN)?

The Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing (ISAPN) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting and advocating for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). As a professional organization, ISAPN offers a variety of services and resources to its members, including continuing education programs, networking opportunities, and support for legislation that affects APRNs.

What problem were they facing?

One of the key challenges that ISAPN faced was effectively communicating with its members and prospective members. With a growing membership base, it was becoming increasingly difficult for ISAPN to reach all of its members via email and keep them informed about the latest developments and opportunities within the organization. In order to address this challenge, ISAPN decided to implement the Stacked communications software services.

What are the results they have seen?

With Stacked, ISAPN was able to create targeted messaging campaigns that were designed to engage and inform its members. The platform allowed ISAPN to segment its audience based on different criteria, such as membership status, location, and interests. This enabled ISAPN to send personalized messages that were relevant to each individual member, increasing the likelihood of engagement and response.

In their first message campaign, ISAPN used Stacked to promote their annual membership program. The campaign was carefully designed to highlight the benefits of membership, such as access to exclusive events, discounts on continuing education courses, and opportunities to network with other APRNs. The campaign included a call-to-action that encouraged recipients to sign up for a membership, and included a link to a landing page where they could complete the process.

The campaign was a success, resulting in 16 new annual memberships. In addition, ISAPN used Stacked to send messages to members whose memberships were about to expire, reminding them that their membership was about to expire and offering them the opportunity to renew. This campaign resulted in 9 renewals, helping ISAPN to retain existing members and maintain a strong and active membership base.

Another key initiative for ISAPN was the launch of a new educational online course. The course was designed to help association members continue their education and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field. ISAPN used Stacked to communicate this new initiative to their members, highlighting the course content and the benefits of participating. The campaign included a special offer for members, who could sign up for the course at a discounted rate.

The response to the campaign was very positive. The text message campaign yielded 5 new sales for a total of $3,125 in new business. This was a significant success for ISAPN, as the online course provided an important source of revenue for the organization and helped to support its ongoing educational programs.

Of the 3,555 text messages that were sent, only 50 people opted out, resulting in a relatively low opt-out rate of 1.4%. This shows that ISAPN’s members were receptive to the messages and found them valuable and informative.

“Stacked has been the secret weapon for member retention marketing campaigns for us. I can’t speak more highly about their team and customer service.”
- Jordan Ashley, 3MC Media Co-Founder and Partner

After just 3 weeks of using Stacked, ISAPN is already considering making it their primary communications tool with their members in 2023. The success of their initial campaigns has demonstrated the effectiveness of using targeted messaging to engage and retain members and has highlighted the value of the Stacked platform for organizations like ISAPN. They are currently working on plans to integrate Stacked more fully into their communication strategy going forward.
